V and M ventured down all the way from Boston to have a destination wedding in Southwest Florida at the beautiful Alderman House! As I drove up to the picturesque Alderman House in Southwest Florida, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement bubbling within me. Today was the day of a vibrant, fun, and colorful Florida October wedding, and I was lucky enough to be the chosen photographer for this dreamy occasion.

THE BEGINNING

Once I stepped foot on the grounds, I was in awe. The Alderman House is a venue full of charming architecture lush, greenery. It was the perfect backdrop for a destination wedding celebration, especially with the vibrant colors and details from the florist and the bridesmaids dresses. As I stepped inside, V and the bridesmaids greeted me with big smiles, hinting at the joyful day ahead. Once the girls finished getting ready, V and her sweet mother started preparing her for her first look with M. After putting on her wedding dress and looking at herself in the mirror, V was absolutely stunning and excited to greet her groom. But first, she had to do a first look with her father! V’s father walked in with the biggest smile and greeted her with open arms.

THE FIRST LOOK

Although V’s first look with her father was emotional, the first look with M was even more heartfelt. Before the ceremony, V and M decided to recite heartfelt vows in private. V read from her vow book while M spoke from the heart. It was a special private moment before their wedding party joined them for photographs. Once all of their friends joined them, it was a party! Overall, the whole day was seamless and smooth, making it a stress-free day.

THE VENDORS

Throughout the wedding day, I was able to meet each vendor that were carefully selected to bring V and M’s vision to life. V and M chose the best vendors in the area! Every detail was seamlessly executed by each vendor, from the stunning floral arrangements from West and Rock Designs in the ceremony space to the most beautiful wedding cake I’ve ever seen. Additionally, every vendor knew how to bring this day to life! Coastal Coordinating made the whole day flow seamlessly. The talented team of vendors truly created a whimsical, kaleidoscope-like atmosphere that was an absolute delight to photograph. Overall it was like working with friends all day!

THE CEREMONY

As the day unfolded, magic continued to dance in the air. Before the cermony, V and M recited heartfelt vows in private. It was a special private moment before their wedding party joined them for photographs. After celebrating with their wedding party, we all went inside for a break before the ceremony. The whole day was seamless and smooth, making it a stress-free day. Finally, guests started arriving in more colorful attire to watch V and M vow their love to one another and seal it with a kiss. Laughter and tears of joy intermingled as guests danced the night away, their laughter and colorful attire bringing the venue to life in the most vibrant way. Once dinner was served DJ Alex from Complete Weddings started the party! All of the guests danced the night away.

Altogether, I am reminded of how lucky I am to be able to capture such heartfelt moments. The energy, love, and pure happiness that radiated from everyone made it an unforgettable experience. Looking back on this vibrant and lively wedding weekend in Southwest Florida, I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of this dream-like celebration, surrounded by incredible vendors who brought the couple’s vision to life. Undoubtedly, I will treasure this fun, colorful destination wedding at the Alderman House with the best vendor team. I cannot wait for the next opportunity to document more moments that will be cherished for a lifetime here in Southwest Florida.
